Alina Pappi is a Finnish contemporary dance artist based in Helsinki. Since graduating from the BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance programme at Trinity Laban in 2016, she has been working as a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and producer.

As an artist Alina enjoys working with different mediums including dance, writing, film, and photography. The movement language of Alina’s choreographic work is characterised by quirky minimalism and the abstraction of everyday human experiences and feelings. In her own pieces, she has often explored themes related to connection, awkwardness and failure.

Alina is also a co-founder of performance platform Abeerance, as well as Lento Art Space

in Helsinki.
